Oral cancer is a group of diseases that can have many different effects on your body. For each type’s symptoms and warning signs to be listed, we would need a whole page. So, to make things easier, here are the most common ways that mouth cancer can affect you:
- White or red spots show up on your lips, gums, tongue, or inside your cheeks.
- Your face, neck, or mouth get sores that bleed and won’t heal.

Are You at Risk of Developing Oral Cancer?
As with the symptoms, there are a lot of similar risk factors for oral cancer, but you need to know something very important before you start putting risk factors together and start to worry. Even if you have most or all of these, it doesn’t mean you will definitely get mouth cancer.
